Well the woodpile was in good shape in September. It looked like this:

you sold it..buried it in an underground bunker..stashed it in uncle louies house trailer...owed some money to a guy with a bent nose....HAHAHAHA!

Even being mostly colorblind, that is lovely there. Get crackin slacker, go cut more wood! heheheheheheh

This year I have a 2nd place to cut that is going to be logged and the first will be finished up. The loggers have been already bribed for cutoffs from the landing.

I now have access to this 4 WD tractor W/ 14,000# logging winch and ice chains.

Left the damper open.
Looks more like someone else is working your pile also, if I was burning thru that much wood so fast I would say what the h €!! And go investigating. Especially if this was not my first year burning.

That tractor and winch outfit will sure be nice and make it easier!

The tractor and winch are a last resort. Once the logging starts, cut offs on the landings are much easier and they are much larger. It takes about 3 min. for this load. I drive home, cut while on the trailer to contain the sawdust, then roll out exactly where I will split it next to the stacks. The sawdust flies off on the next trip.

The loggers load my trailer with the forwarder and it looks like this:

Well the loggers still haven't got here to do the two tracts I have lined up. I am planning on spotting a 30 yard container up there when they do.

So I have had to cut it and haul it the old fashioned way. But I have a start anyway.
