I was listening to KRock today and they were having a discussion about tipping people for the holidays. Some of them were completely insane IMO, but I am wondering if many of you guys get holiday tips from clients?

Some of the ones they were suggesting on KRock were: Deli staff, coffee staff, nurses, barber, landscaper, heating oil delivery people, garbage men, flight attendants, mortgage processors?, mail staff, and a whord of other crazy, and not so crazy ones.

You can never go wrong tipping, and that comes from an experienced mixologist. I once did a job where the client gave us all $20, as we were setting up. Now that was a wise person. We did a better job than ever because of that tip. She told us she was "buying us lunch."

Cool.

Best tip i've seen so far in tree care was 2months ago. While working Gulf Shores a man I was doing some work for tipped my men really well. Just after settling up with me on our deal he walked over to my men and tipped each one $100. There were 6 of them he tipped. Thats $600 in tips! Wow. This blew me away. We'd only been there working for about 2 hrs. My guys were really shocked, as was I. I wish i was ever tipped like that when i was the laborer.
