How many hours are to many on a used chipper?

I've been looking at Morbarks 12/18 inch 1500 to 2000 hours around 13K?

If the chipper runs well, looks good and there's no bearing noise, it'll be fine.

My '97 BB 250XP is prolly up around 4000 hours. It's time for new disc main bearings.

It's not so much the hours as it is the maintainence performed during those hours. Oil changes, grease, schedule maint.. Keep it all up and hours really don't matter.

My buddy Armondo(tree farmer) has a Badger with 3,000 hours on it going for 6K. It's in really good shape(Grinding up fruit tree branches once a year) but needs paint as it was stored like any other farm equipment. I could PM ya his # if ya want, and don't mind the drive.

Stay safe!
