I had to read your post Tony-I couldn't imagine you having enemies! Sorry about yur wing. Heal fast!

Tony, Im not sure whether you are recommending the surgery or not; Is it the drugs or have you been studying Spidey's bafflegab?
If we see an old bird out going in circles we'll know you are doing your physio!
Get well!

Frank

yea id recommend it rather than being one armed the rest of u life..but just barely..:) funnny thing .. the fella i hired to help was trying to talk me into putting another truck out,and letting him drive it,, when i got well.. yesterday after we were done, i briefly mentioned it .. he said ,nah ive decided this aint something i can do regular..it takes about 3 good days working in summer heat to separate the men from the boys..or mabe the sane from the insane..:)

tony,

I really enjoy reading your messages. I think I've developed a translational machine in my brain for reading them. I have an uncle in texas who flew fighters in WWII who sends me e-mails everyday about GW Bush etc is doing in Iraq and he types just like you.

Now to the question: have you taken up the Jack Daniels therapy for your recovery from shoulder surgery? My personal favorite is a straight rye whisky from Jim Beam (it has a yellow label) that is DANGEROUSLY smooth. I have not yet met a whisky drinker who doesn't immediately befriend this version of ole Uncle Jim.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

Uh, uh...

Tony...

My father just had his "cuff" done (too much fastpitch in the air force) and, not to discredit the helpful advise already given...

Dad tells me that the blackberry brandy not only cures the common cold but sure does help in whatever else "ails" you.

Blackberry, my friend... Blackberry...(it's a northern wisconsin thing)

Good luck to you Tony... i now frum my dads exprence (I just can't do it :)... it's an art to type phonetically... anyway... dad's shoulder acts up on him still, but he keeps on cuttin'!

Take care,

Matt

As I sit with a cast on my right wrist myself, I can definitly feel where you are coming from. Temporary loss of wing sucks but permanant loss would be much worse. Good luck with recovery.

thanks for the kind wds.. and byv he way we make a little blackberry wine dn this way. passed dn thru the family.. i never forget the day my dad went to check how his batch was comin along.. he opened the shed door and there stood my 6 yr old sister ,with a tablespoon..
she had been having a good time..about half looped.. imagine what social services would do with that these days:)
