How's your arm ??
I think swelling was causing a few issues which have gotten better but still can't rotate my forearm nor curl my arm. I went to one of the better urgent care locations here and they pretty much said go see the specialist we don't have an ortho here... so I got back in touch with my original dr and he got me into the ortho Tuesday morning.
My arm may be useless but I'm still trying to go to work tomorrow!! I'm not that sensitive[emoji12]

My boss used to take me with him on certain bids, one for my input, but mainly cause i had an awsome beard. Of course my wife didn't think it was as awsome as i did, so now it's just an aberage beard
The beards are great, but mine made me look like an old man at 24 because it was graying so off it came. As my business grew and equipment list grew even faster two choices became clear. Move, rent space or buy something. A deferred maintenance house on a 1/2 acre lot within commercial zoning became available so I bought it. At first it seemed like the mistake of my life. It turned out that I was being audited by the IRS soon after. I knew that my records were up to date, but I was not certain that my depreciation schedule and my deductions were just right. So I called my local IRS office and plead with the office to schedule an appointment for me and they did. I studied as best I could on my situation and on all the questions I had. Soon I had about 40 questions to ask whom ever my appointment was with. The appointment time went well until we were wrapping up and then she said "do you know what I would do in your situation?" "No" so for another hour she made all kinds of suggestions about restructuring the business and write offs. After applying all of her strategy with some creative write offs my tax liability went down 90%. So with confidence I attacked my auditors and they agreed. Many years have passed and no sign of any issues with the IRS have come up. So maybe the IRS is not always wrong. I rent out the house to a couple and some of the space for storage then the rest I use. It has been a real life saver. Buy what ever you can afford, but renting does not seem like the way to go. In the meantime while saving up for a down payment this hobo shop costs $80 a month.
Depends on your locale. Around here, to buy any suitable commercial space that isn't an hour out of town is $3million. Most little tree guys I know rent, many use a storage locker. They can work well if there is power/lights into the unit.

This is interesting. What would I get for 3 mil? Just land, or a structure on it? How much land? I mean, 3 mil is a lot for a lot.
3 mil, would probably be just land value. There might be a structure, but it would have minimal value. We had to move out of a building (that's how I know the 3 mil value) cause our lease was up. I'd estimate the property was little under 100' wide and 400' long. It had a fairly large building/warehouse, but I doubt it was up to code so was limited what you could do with it. It had reasonable freeway accessibility.
