Came home with this from the flea market today.

Is there a cure for this sickness ??

Mac 1-43 $20

Only problem I found was the plug threads are pretty boogerd up. I got on Mikes site to see what plug it takes ( J7J champ, A7X Autolite, and AC M45) Any idea where I can get the right plug ??

Guy had a long reach tapered seat plug from a car engine in the dang thing. Barely got it out...........

Put a CJ8 in there & it has just a very, very slight compression leak.............................

Started right up & ran great when I bought it.

I might ebay it, or just keep it. I like these old things..........

I let an old Mac pass a bit older than that

$5. Just didn't have room for it. Thought about it though.

Hi Mike,
That J7J plug on mikes plug chart crosses with A5X autolite.But on the I-43 saw page it lists A7X ?Checked an auto parts store on-line(Autozone). They listed A5X and A7X to cross reference with champion 841-1 at a buck and a half.Maybe you have an Autozone nearby.

Just got it today and it's an OK saw with plenty of compression, spark and no damage. I was pleasantly suprised since the Dolmar 116 did NOT work out; -0- compression. At least I got my money back. No real harm done, just a waste of time.
