Thanks Chris! That Grider is from a different rea for sure. Much like the Black and decker drill. As soon as I get the drill press, Radial arm saw and table saw I will post them along with a bucnch of other "cool" tools
My proudest moment so far welding aluminum. Here is a pic, just been running a bunch of beads.
I've just had it set to auto AC balance, and it work good, nice amount of cleaning action as you can see around the weld.

It's a centipede that won't rust!!!

That's a nice bead, Will!!
I've got a TIG, but it's an old "add-on" unit to my regular line welder with no pedal, so I have all but given up on aluminum, unless it's heavier gauge. I use it for stainless and steel though........I built a set of Exhaust pipes for my Harley, all out of mandrel bends, cut into short lengths and TIG welded together to make it around the corners.......I just love the fact that it's such a clean weld with no spatter.
Nice one Will...
ha ha. You know what's funny. My daughter looked at it and said, is that a worm fossle?
Does it do AC?
Yes. I LOVE this tig, it has such unbelievable control, I can't get over it. Real nice to have foot control, its a true squarewave machine, not an inverter style, and it goes down to as low as 5amps, that's crazy!
Will
That's a fine looking bead Will! Keep it up, and soon you will be welding everything you can get your hands on. . . Even the neighbors cat. Hahahaha
Heres the score

Great score Joe. Love that bench grinder.
Talking of Black & Decker drills. Here's one that was left at the house I bought. Notice anything innovative about this drill?
Congrats on the house purchase Joe.
keyless chuck?
The old guy there called that a "surface grinder". Said his dad was a master machinist and built the thing himself. I got it for $20; I don't know if I'll end up using it as a grinder or whatnot, but I just really wanted the post with the nice precision double dovetail adjustments. They're super slick - reminds me of something BobL here might have built!
