Brad has stuck a few saws in my hands at GTGs that made me think holy crap......that saw is fast. He can and does build some real good saws.

We might have a little bit of a different approach to porting a saw.......but to that I say thank goodness.

The world would be a boring place if we all did things the same way.

Carry on with your bad self B'Rad. I enjoy reading along. :chainsaw:
I agree with that bolded comment entirely! We are all individuals, and our needs, likes, and wants will be just as different. I'm totally OK with that! You and I have quite different build philosophies and methods. Both serve a very real purpose. Nothing wrong with that at all. I've run many of your saws as well, and have been equally impressed. Well, I'm not so impressed when you beat me, lol:bowdown:

Awesome. I'd love to see the graph! I'm going to guess that it peaks in the 11,000 range. Hopefully it still makes good power down in the 8,500 RPM range as well.
It blew away the 461 and 660 for Max hp. I have a bit of testing lined up yet so it'll be a while. Back to dyno testing

I just build saw engines that sorta chug along at a slow, but steady rate of speed.

I'm happy about that too.

Does that mean I'm a weirdo?

The only fault I have found in the 23 you have ported me.... is they all use too much damn gas (which is a good thing bc it means more breaks) and they are too loud.:D

Oh and.....
