i work with an insurance adjuster...
yesterday i was hearing the terrible story of what fire had done to this guys work shop... i ask about saws and his eyes lightened up. yes my new saw was destroyed... it dont look like it but the mechanic said the heat from the fire got inside the saw,where its not suppose to get hot... said it was totaled... some how i managed to dry my tears after that sad story...its against the rules or id have tried to buy his totaled saw... still had a lite coat of white sawdust on it. also had a very heat durable case that looked like new.people are truely amazing.
