Hello John , I'm not sure yet. I have a BC2000 with grapple that is awsome but it's on wheels and I am in the moutains so,,,,,, . I need input from others in this area. Please tell me why I do or do not want a big or small machine please? Thanks

THE VERMEER track IS JUNK they have to meany bugs

morbark makes some nice toys but they are heavy!!!! and wide (over 102" you need permit to move them!!)

we got the bandit 1890 on tracks as it is as big as you can get with out getting a permit to move it and it has rubber tracks so it is street friendly

we looked at the bigger bandits and morbarks and went with the 1890's . you can hand feed the 1890 or use a bobcat or an ex to feed it. the bigger one's are NOT SAFE to hand feed!!

I know of 2 people running 1850 track bandits and they love them. The 1900 is a beast of a machine and chips very fast. The 1850 is a good machine . WE have one with 7500 hours and and have had no trouble with it. If you go to Bandits web site you can see some videos of them working.

Hope this helps JOHN

It depends on what you want to chip, what the ground is like, and what quantity's.
We build our chippers on tracked undercarriages, and I've converted a few big chippers.

edit-
the cab on the bandit range is shockingly poor. noise and vibration was terrible on the 1850 I drove.
Much more efficient to have a radio remote chipper and seperate loader to feed it.
