Trango cinch

Has anyone used the Trango Cinch for a lanyard adjuster on their climbing belt? It looks kind of fragile, but I see Sherrill sells it as a Lanyard adjuster. I like the idea of using a 10 or 11 mm lanyard. That way you could use a really long lanyard if you wanted and easily store the tail in a small bag on your side.

Have used this for the last four years on lanyard. Own two. The other is on a long lanyard.

I used one for awhile. Nice unit but it was not as smooth to me as a hitch. I also used 11mm static rope and while it flipped ok I switched back to 1/2in. KMIII with a hitch. I like the feel of the larger rope in my hands. It is a nice unit when it comes to pitch, etc. I attached it to my harness with a pear link.
