NR ABERGAVENNY IN THE BLACK MOUNTAINS
i have been cutting trees for abt 20 years, and last 12 mnths started climbing, just recently been talking to a climber locally to me and hes abit full of himself,if you knw what i meen anyway he was on abt climming abig beech and he said they were takeing photos and he looked like a dot,it was abt 80:taped ft up he said he free climbed it and he said when i climd do i go up a bit at a time, isaid no i use a throw line,he said whats that and i had to explain, is he full of you no what

If you live in Wales, and you spell using phonics, that is how your going to express your self.
Buffalo, Lots of climbers are full of you know what, as you can see.

Really Buffalo, I know what ya mean. We had a guy come out, had all kinds of expert skill. The I watched him lock the chain brake at full RPM on a saw. Waited to see if he would do it again, or if it was an accident, nope. He did it again. Granted, they are suppose to do that on a kick back, but ya dont do it when your standing around with a saw. Some little actions like that tell alot about people.
 
I like the experts who put there climbing spikes on the wrong feet, or how about putting the chain on backwards and trying to cut with it. You can tell in about 5 min. whos for real and whos posing.

Or their throwbag is tied on with a regular old granny/square knot (or whatever), so they can't untie it without a knife. Thats another good one.
