Tree Farm Questions

Hi guys,

I've got questions on managing a piece of property as a tree farm.

Is this the right forum to ask these types of questions? If not, could someone kindly point me to the right forum for such questions?

What kind of tree farm?

For growing nursery stock, see if there is a state nursery organization. In Ohio, it is the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association

I'd call it a work in progress. Majority of timber was harvested in 87' and replanted in Norway, white spruce, and cedar in 88' which are doing great. The smaller Norway that were on the property were left and are now ready to be harvested (working with a reputable logger to hopefully complete that this winter. I'm good with the forest plan but had more specific questions on deductibility of machinery if I decide to start working more actively on the property.
