I hope you guys aren't too tired of identifying trees, but I can't find this one anywhere to save my life (I've been looking for over a year, locals don't even know).
I live in East Texas. See the image below, The leaves grow without any symmetry, the wood is very soft and is very light in color (almost white) with no indication of distinction between core wood and sap wood (same all the way through).
No nuts or flowers that I've ever seen. The trunk in the photo is about 6-8" diameter. The leaves range in length from 2" to 5". There are no leaves that have saw tooth edges, they are all smooth.
