It had a single dominant stem (forget the arboricultural term) and about 60-70' tall. I am guessing Tulip though from what I have observed they are very uncommon around here. There were several planted in a city sidewalk in a suburban neighborhood in LA. Sorry about the lousy cell phone pics. My client also said they do not flower which surprised me.

Fruit is correct for a tulip tree, hard to see the leaves but they kinda look more heart shaped like a cottonwood which is part of the Populus family as is the tulip but I dont believe the cottonwood produces the same fruit. But the leaves are kinda blurry so it could just be a bad shot.

western yellow poplar tree - Google Search
yellow poplar, Liriodendrum tulipifera stays excurrent in form deverting to decurrent into maturity, doesnt show male female probably blooms are not as vivid do to potasium availability. Some of the leaves on the google site had that heart shape too like a aspen but may be the angle too.
