Wild looking I wanna know too so I can forget in a few weeks.

sometimes it can be hard to i.d. a tree from just a couple pics online. if your really curious you can either buy a book or go to Common Trees of the Pacific Northwest and answer the questions. however there are sometimes oddball trees that pop up randomly that are not common around here that wont show up on the tree i.d. from the website.

its most likely an Oregon white oak (Quercus garryana). although "oregon" is in the common name, its habitat stretches from california, to just into canada.

Climb4fun. I looked online at a site with native Trees of Washington State and it has Oregon White Oak. Looks pretty close, but like you say, I'd have to do further investigation andresearch to be sure. My hunch is that it is correct. Thanks for your feedback.
