Tree Inventory

Hi everyone. Question for any of you that have done inventories, especially for small communities; Is there a good way to estimate the time it takes based on how many acres of park and how many miles of streets?

I would love to assist a couple of communities fairly close to where I live, but have never done the actual inventory. I know what to do, have plenty of experience with boards and many levels of governments, and have some very solid tree knowledge.

I would appreciate any comments (even if you want to tell me where to go!) that might set me in the right direction.

Dave, have you asked this on The Knothole? Even though it takes longerr to get an answer, there are more consultants there.
