I gonna seek advice here from arb guys.

I am going to have to climb a co-dominant stick very shortly lol........I don't want to use spurs as 1 I can't find them lol and 2 it an awkward sod.

I have found a guy who makes what he calls tree spikes .......they are threaded and screw into the stick around 3" ......they are shaped with a foot pad etc......I've never used or heard of these so would be real obliged if any guys could give me their views.

I need to climb this sod as I can't fall it broadside due to lay would have to be right into a mature hedgerow. and that can't be. To fall it by the union is same prob plus one side has cat face so no go there. It can't be ripped and slid due to cat face so I'm left with ripping and falling it apart hence the need to climb as it limb locked. It around 65' and each co-dominant is round 36" at the butt

Remember I'm a faller lol so fancy climbing techs are kinda beyond me lol ....I was taught to climb ......spurs.....belt and flip

Thanks again guys for any help

sounds like those tree spikes would be a lot of work and wasted time imho. do you have a harness and a lanyard? i wouldnt go up without them. sounds to me like you really need to get some spurs or just have a climber come out to the job site.
