Nice Nick! I just placed my first order with them and it could not have gone any smoother or quicker for that matter.

Nice vid....
Are any of you guys using friction savers on a daily basis? I've tried 'em a few times and it just didnt seem worth the extra effort. For those that are, are you using it for its friction reduction or the reduced cambium damage? Are your ropes lasting longer because of it?

I use a ring and ring friction saver a lot even on take downs. Consistent friction that I can count on the responsiveness (even in pitchy trees), less friction allowing me to do more in the way of positioning jumps to other spars etc., setting a false crotch to lower myself from at any place on a limb or spar.

I use the caterpillar type friction saver more when trimming, to prevent damage to the tree while having consistent friction. Getting the original 'Dan House' saver from TreeStuff gets you a better conduit and better unit in my opinion-found that out the hard way.

Rope wear is far less-bonus.

I dont use a friction saver daily but only because I climb SRT. When I do climb DRT I definitely use a FS of some sort.
