Does anybody have any tri-tech experience? I work in south east mi and im due for a new lanyard. Oak season is coming up...This tri tech is attractive with the 2 in 1 system. Any suggestions?

I've used it for two years. It works well for me. Just get the right hitch cord combo. Ocean poly works great. Other kinds of cords can bind up.

I have some tri tech in my trees stuff cart. Stuff is not cheap

I left steel core flip lines with a micro grab few years ago and went onto a ce lanyard with ocean poly hitch cord. It's a great system and very slick, easy to use though pricey. Once it wore out I didn't want to buy another so I just started using old climb lines. I didn't like the aluminum biner on the end of the ce lanyard so I cut a steel one off an old steel core and put that on my rope lanyard together with some beeline in a VT and a dmm pulley. Works great and is very cheap. It doesn't last forever, but I've got enough old short climb lines kicking around that it's effectively free. Makes me feel a lot better shot ditching it early too, like if it gets all messed up with pitch or whatever.
