Trying find out about 1948 lombard two man saw

:blob2::msp_sneaky:Hi, I am new boy on block, Would like to know about a saw , I found in my neighor Barn.It a 1948 lombard ,it has homelite ,eng. about 6' bar ,look on e-bay, found,a listing out for a magazine date 1948 ,for $29.99. It show 2 men cutting a BIG tree , with one holding the handle on the end of the bar ,while the other man ,holds two handle on end of the eng..I have Eng. model 24x-2a1,ser.303562,,The plate on frame say Lombard Governor Corp. Mass. SER. GS5208..Looks like you can rotate, the bar, after pulling a small handle...Want to find parts ,and infor. about saw.HELP! IF YOU CAN!! over all saw looks good but chain teeth are badly rusted............
 
I do not know if it is ok to post another fourum but the guys at chainsaw collectors forum .chainsawcollectors.se/phpbb3/index.php are very knowledgeable and help full with antique saws. good luck finding the parts.
