Took an extra long walk today to get pictures of tubed cedar and what the deer and elk and bunnies do to them.
The company went in early this year and planted untubed Douglas-fir.

My Dad has taken command of my bb gun since I've been gone. The deer seem to enjoy the cedar type bushes in the back yard. Actually they devour them! Bad deer...
