I have finished most of the cross cut work for a while and have 6 20" Red Oak logs to mill and a few smaller ones for beams.

Right now I have the saw set at 12,500rpm WOT. What's a good rpm range for milling?

I will be using both the small log mill with a 20" bar and a C2 with the 50 inch bar and @32 inch cut.

Green wood.

Just tending burn piles and staring at the logs right now. Trailer beds, timber frame goat barn, horse lean too.

I've been using it at 12,500. The fuel is 40-1 just because the 041 calls for 40-1 and the C51 16-1.

No problems with the 395xp and milling with the 50" bar, cutting @28" Cherry. I will put the 20" bar on it tomorrow and see how it does.

I have a bunch of Red Oak and I need beams and an trailer floor.
