Just replaced fuel line on old Poulan 25DA, was so brittle I had to bust it up to remove it. It had some kind of yellow line on it, don't know what brand it was..

Yup, that's the failure mode of the Tygon knock-offs. From flexible and yellow on installation, to brown, rigid and brittle at failure.
I know this is an old thread. But, just bite the bullet and go buy some Stihl fuel line. It will outlast that Tygon crap by years. If I knew how to buy it in the aftermarket i would , but have not found it.
Tygon is ****, even if it has the Tygon name on it by comparison.
Stihl rubber line will last for many years. Doesn't get hard, crack, etc. It is worth it.

That stuff is so hard to work with the 1200 line. I tried it it back in 2015 and not for me. 2 sizes of 1200 I tried.
Stens blue in pic too, was fine for that time and was easy to work with
Echo oem 99% of the time now.

Did oem 4040 for many years and only one I will use in the small .140x.080.
Other wise I just drill the tank hole and stick the better oem echo 3x5 line there. As shown.
Most of us already been there done tried all of that oem tygon many years ago. It's nothing new.
Even have a test thread on them many years back soaking. 1100 is about the worst tygon pos line I ever seen.
