Type of Ants in Hollow Section of Tree?

Anyone have an idea of the type of ants these are? Just noticed them today in a hollow part of the tree trunk and they move very fast compared to most ants I've seen before. Maybe carpenter or crazy ants?

Not carpenter ants…those are black

Hmm but these guys have a tiny waist and termites have a thick waist. I would say these look more yellow in color and very small, around 1/8".

Google yellow ants, i did and a several came up.

I zoomed in on the pic and they are not termites, definitely an ant.

Termites.

I called a pest control company to take a look and he says they are ghost ants and treated it with a chemical called Termidor.

Sounds like you need an exorcist, not an exterminator.
