:DG'day fellas,

Hoping someone can post an email address for a Carlton stump grinder dealer on your west coast.

Need to get some jack & grinder wheel shaft bearings and belts, local Aus. agents want more than double what I think I can get them in U.S. for.

I've had a look at the Carlton site and didn't locate any dealers list so any help appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Creeker.

(Going bush for couple of days so won't be near PC)

Order anything you need direct from the Carlton factory. They ship out promptly. That is where I get all my parts from.

This was Agtraks SM1 version of the Alpine ,used it a couple of times but been sitting in the shed since I got the SM2.Hard work to use but more suited for Sydney where access is a problem.

Nice pics mate.

A handy lot of machinery there Abbeystump!

(You'd like the dual wheels on the SP4012 improves traction and stability.)

Re the grease, it says purge daily, I did so and was told that daily meant 6 or 8 hours work. My habit was 'every' day I worked, regardless of hours, didn't think it was possible to overgrease anything - local dealer says he s/t Carlton and they thought it was.

I will change the grease I use though.

The cover over the outside bearing on the cutter wheel shaft is a good idea and I'll think about doing it also.

all the best, Crkr.

G'day folks,

Can anyone please advise if Enviro Chipper is still open for business, had some difficulty with an email not being replied to.

Thanks

Just called the 1 800 # above and got their machine, so guess you better call them for quicker response.

Thanks paccity, seems that way, all the best for your summer, we are heading for Winter and snow is forecast on the peaks over 1200m at the moment. Happily we are only 150m and it was 16C here today.

Lit the slow combustion wood heater tonight though, nice bit of red gum - a eucalypt of renown for heat production is in it.

Many Thanks !

Thanks for the help fellas, much appreciated, end up with a very good price.

Excellent quotes from all businesses involved
