I have an inexpensive unit that gets used on a regular basis. Simple Green, Mean Green, Super Clean, Purple Power, or Mr. Clean with water. It has a heater that gets it up to temperature very quickly. One of the best things about cleaning carburetors is how well is loosens the stuck on gaskets/fragments.

Some will say you shouldn't put a carburetor in an ultrasonic as it can damage the HS check valve but I've done many and have not had any problems so far.

I've had the same experience, I've never removed the HS check valve before cleaning in the ultrasonic cleaner and never had any problems.

I'd be interested in the mix ratios everyone is using, I use Simple Green HD mixed with water but can't remember the ratio, whatever is suggested on the bottle.

Have an old half gallon L&R ultrasonic. No specific mix ratio, water and whatever cleaner I have in hand at the moment. Wish it was larger, tbh. Use it a lot and not just for carbs. Wouldn't be without one for carbs though. Makes life a lot easier cleaning them.

I have a Harbor Freight model i clean suppressors in. it does a good job.
