I figure the way the economy is, I may find some local talent. I am down to 10 guys and need 2 more. The ad comes out on Monday on Craigslist. Last time I got about 100 responses and only 3 were any good. Should be interesting.

Never tried to use Craigslist.. How did you manage to weed through the responses and get to the real talent?

I start by requiring a drivers license:dizzy:

Well that will narrow it down to 1/2 people then.

I just ask what you were up to cause the title " unemployment" kinda didn't mesh with what you are up to. Its not about unemployment its about finding some more guys.
And why the hell have you no pics? Come on, we all gotta see what The Jeff is up to over there.

Well heck, if you put the requirements right in the ad do you still get flooded with unqualified responses?

Of course, 1 out of 10 would be almost too much to ask for.
I ran a CL ad here in Illinois for ground labor help with a truck, and the wack jobs came out of their basements in droves. with vans, cars, box trucks, etc..... and claiming to be willing to drive 90 minutes one way, to an area they don't know, and do a job they never heard of.:dizzy:

out of 40+ calls, I got 10 possibles, and have started weeding em out. one guy actually brought out a Morbark 7 lil chipper, and worked good and reasonable. except the truck was half full.
