Hi, Any of you companies use Unimogs out there, they are becoming a common sight round here, we just hired one in to clear a crown thinning project in a large park, it had a schliesling 14"PTO front mount chipper , we had reduced 12 Norway maples approx height 70' down to 50', cleaned them and stacked the brash, this guy turned up at 9am and cleared approx 12 tonnes in 5 hours.....believe me it was impressive, he had a back mounted leaf sucker for cleaning the debris and after he had finished you wouldnt have known we had been there, they also have a 3 way tipper which makes things a lot easier in confined areas and flotation tyres for park work, take a look at www.unimog.com

I never have seen those. I don't think we have those in America. If we do, like I said never seen one. Probably cause of the emmisions regulations if not. Looks pretty cool.

Yah Unimogs basically rock, but are really rare in North America. Don't know why they have not really caught on. Built like tanks (probably even have a turret attachment!!!) incredibly versatile, just too darn rare.
