Pretty good article. I liked the part about how the tree huggers are the first to whine when a tree puts out the power, very true. Wish it talked about what to do in case of a downed line, step and touch, all that good stuff.

I was hoping you'd see this post and comment clearance :greenchainsaw:

Reality bites, lol

why does anyone listen to NPR? :crazy1:
Perhaps for a differing opinion, people who listen to NPR should also watch FOX for another opinion.

What clearance said.

In the end, who cares what the source is, as long as it is accurate. The consumer has to be able to model the information to fuse it all together. That scene in MIB where Tommy Lee picks up the tabloid and says they are the best news source is priceless. Things like John Edwards affair would not happen as quickly without aggressive news reporting. The for better or worse part is that I am consistently amazed at how many of our "secrets" end up in the newspaper. You just can't have your cake and eat it too. I often shake my head and hope that someone with a better overall plan than I is allowing these things to happen :( .

Art Bell (anyone with ideas of black helicopters, new world order and alien races can get ample air time there) and BBC needs to be added as a source. Heck even Al Jazeera english has some good stuff for when you need to know the angles  . Unfortunately, it is very different from the arabic version. The arabic version is like CNN/Fox for that region for better or worse.

No fight intended, just a different view of news, its importance and its application.
