I would have to say most of the logs cut here in Berkshire County are sold to Canada.

Interesting that Canada hasn't already been shipping more to China.

There is a reason for that and I forget what it is.

Also of note is the fact that a vast portion of Canada's timberland is either outright owned by or leased to Weyco following their successful buyout of MacMillan-Bloedel. To understand why Canadian lumber isn't ending up in China is to understand why Weyerhauser isn't selling Canadian lumber to China. There has got to be more money in keeping it on this continent somehow.
