Yeah that would help but I was thinking of crafting a leather sheath
to fit mine and lacing it on cowhide is excellent to insulate heat!

Just go to K-mart, for 6 bucks you can get a pair of bicycle handlebar grips that should slip right over.
I should have just said that earlier because evrybody that I know who has a joystick control that I have used now has a bar grip on it thanks to me. Whose idea was it to put a bare piece of metal in there like that anyway?

Guess what has me lol-ing all over the place, one word- " I have to get my trailer out of impound." Well maybe a little more than one word.
I give you credit, you got balls. I don't know if I could admit my tree truck was let go into the woods. DDM should relinquish control of the picture of Enus to you.
Who's a seagull now craptalker?

Cute, but not to worry dan, I got it all mostly in control-see I got other help too, and have been out 7 days for at least 3-4 weeks now-alot of storm+ regular work as well. F that trailer! Got er out with the dealer plates :) , solved that problem-as I do most. Hey dan, you ever gonna post any pics of you and yer clothes hampers and toilet cleaning gloves on some real jobs with some actual wood? or are you limited to your "little Walnut" jobs with that Dingo? Lol.

I was just about to ask you the same thing but YES pictures will be coming. I cut and loaded 4 loads of 4 foot round maple on Sat. But mostly I do the same work everybody else does.

Nope, didn't see it. but let me ask you when was the last time to took on a tree like that little walnut by yourself. I would like to post so pics of some more work I did alone but hey, I am alone. Who is going to shoot?
I think I have some good stuff on film and once you see the guy in the picturse you will know who it is. But listen, I don't want to hear " nice work", "good job" or " you the man" cause number 1: I don't take compliments well and 2 it ain't nothing nobody didn't do allready.

bud i work all around the city and surrounding towns. i'm always working in or around wires. some live, some for cable tv. in regards to your walnut i wouldve went damn near the top and pulled it over. then pieced the thing to the ground. easy peasy.

name of the thread is large oak takedown, seacoast nh in the picture forum. you'll love the
AScalender pic i put up.

but you are right about having no one to take pics for you. and how come you have such a hard time taking a pat on the back bud?

nice work on that walnut tman!

I would think something else caused that problem either wrong fluid
or the bird nest in the jumper! It if tested and with proper fluid should
make no differance. Granted insulated may have helped but something
was not up to snuff there! Unless it was open wire secondaries
or rubbed raw triplex where hot and ground could be made!
Phase to phase or ground will light you up no matter how
good a lift is.

Yeah, there was more to it. Unfortunately the link I had is now dead, and I can't remember exactly how it happened. What I do remember is it was during a pole transfer and the proper PPE was not being used.

Yes it was and thank you. I amsure you would have done it easy peasy like you say but for one thing. Someone to pull the top out for you. I was alone. I did say it was just a little tree in the first place.
But anyway... tomorrow I do a little work for someone else. I will take the CAMERAS ( notice the plural now?)
AND like you said " I work all over ... " Don't need you to tell me what a great guy I am. You don't need me trying to impress you either. keep your chops up friend.
