I never said it was running 1000 psi, I said 5-600 average. And I miss spoke, the old pump was a vickers V230 with a #8 ring moving 17.7 gpm. The new one is a Vickers V20 with a #8 ring that is capable of moving 19 gpm. The pumps are not much different, I will let you know tomorrow how that goes. If it is an issue i have a 20hp Onan on the bench.
If I do put the 20HP on it I will have to try the #13 ring in the pump again.
When I got the splitter it had a 10 HP on it turning the 17.7 gpm pump, I upgraded it to the 13HP Honda, what a difference.
