Vermeer BC1000XL throttle adjustment

I have a 2008 Vermeer BC1000XL. forward stopped working. have checked all switches, magnetic pickup. My Tach light stays dim. this happened a few months ago, took to Vermeer. They said they adjusted the throttle, and that
did the trick. I don't know if the throttle could be un-adjusted. But the waiting list is very long to go back to Vermeer. Does anyone know how to adjust the throttle on this beast? and where can I find a wiring diagram?
