Hello, first time poster here but have been checking out the site for years.

I have a Vermeer BC600 I bought a 6 months ago. Today I used it for the first time in a few months and everything was moving as it should and about 10 minutes in the feed roller started slowing down and I had to grab the green handle and pull the bar toward me to speed up the roller enough to get it to finish feeding. Then it slowed down and stopped feeding at all. Not sure what is going on but was hoping for some advice on how to troubleshoot it.

Thanks a lot

I went about troubleshooting a bit and sure enough I found a broken part in the gears that the control bar moves. It probably broke because I was pulling the green handle toward me to get it to finish pulling the material in, but that doesn't solve the problem I am having with why it was going slow. Does anyone know what kind of part this is or where I can buy a replacement? I don't think I have ever seen one at Tractor Supply.

Wow that is good to know. I will register it. Thanks for the info. FYI, I was able to get it working but I still think I will have Vermeer come out to look at and service the machine in Spring.
