Vermeer bc625 question

Hello I was chipping up some limbs today with my bc625 and realized that the reverse feed was not working. The autofeed on it is blown and I've had no problems with it till today doing some pine when it got stuck in the feed wheel and won't go forward to suck it in and the feed wheel won't rotate back to spit it back out so I can cut it up. I didn't know if the autofeed would have anything to do with that or if anyone had any ideas.

Theres probably play in the linkage that controls the forward and reverse.Put the bar into reverse and try moving the linkages more, hard to explain but easy to do. If the wheel was fine moving forward it can only be play or a damaged control valve.
