Has anyone used a 935 before? I would greatly appreciate any feed back on this chipper. I am wondering about performance, ease of maintenance and frequency of maintenance beyond routine stuff. Please include engine size with any comments. Thanks.

Ran one for about 6months after buying it at a good price second hand. It was 50hp Perkins engine with auto-stress. Found it good on fuel and with the exception of the bed knife very easy to mantain, bed knife was got at under the machine and if not looked after by last owner i.e. because it's awkward to get at it's a pain so just make sure to coat the bolts with coppergrease.
I thought it took stuff in better than the BC1000 ? but of course less HP . It's very fool proof to use, pull lever to engage and twist out throttle start chipping ! no fancy electrics.Has a fairly long feed table so also safe to use. Very compact for 9" chipper. It is the only machine I ever got more than I paid for when I sold it on and as far as I know it's still going at about 10yrs old.

Thanks for the reply, it was quite helpful. We have a 625 that is a pita to change the knives and adjust the bed knife. Do you know if the 935 has the same design when it comes to these two items? It looks like the knives are accessed by tipping the shute off to one side, just like in the 625.
