vermeer grinder engine

Im working on a vermer stump grinder with a briggs diesel 34 hp... Need an engine or a crank and rod. This one spun a bearing.... Anybody got spare engine or parts ??????

Good luck, we went through 4 engines on our machine. The last time the crank broke. I was told by the dealer it was because the engine twisted due to a break in the motor mount.

Wonder if that's why they went to a 37 hp Yanmar now?

I'm runnin that machine now. Bout 860 hours. So far so good.

looking at repowering with a kohler engine...more hp.. You can buy it cheaper than the briggs/diahtsu diesel....
