Hey I found this on craigslist:

Can some one tell me what model number the Stihl would be. I called the guy and he didn't know. I'm thinking it is a O8 because of the orange handle. Anybody know what I should offer the guy for it? Also, what do you think of the other saws, especially the craftsman and the mac? Thanks for any help. This site has given me the saw addiction really bad now but I like it.

The baby Mac is a 110 or 120 mini.About a 20 dollar saw.I have one that has a tuned pipe,kind of a big kids toy,so to speak.

My saw. 08s, hm could be a 010 but i don think so. can't wait to get it back up and running, I'm missin' my lil girl :p

I can't tell much by the picture other than it is a horizontal cylinder Stihl .The second one to the right is a Homelite/Lombard design, perhaps even Remington. They seemed to be all peas of the same pod only painted a bit different.

Yup, 08s with an odd bar. Working little beast they are, [email protected]+hp and 7500rpm you will find few more durable saws, mine runs (ran till work/not prevailed) a 24" Sthil rollomatic with 3/8s chisel, I put a PDF manual file here on site, just search. Biggest grief I had was the rubber fuel lines breaking down (if you want new about 20$ max I think). Mine is presently 'retired' (search 'shocking experience' thread) and in pieces, I wrecked the flywheel trying to pull it apart  and may have screwed the bearings, it will live again! I wouldn't give up on something thats given me such good grunt work, unlike other women in my life  again (sexist jk ya ya i no), parts still made in brazil and relatively cheap, a keeper (don't listen to da guys who never had one )
