Gentlemen,
Could someone please tell me on a Walbro HDA carburetor on my old Poulan 2800 saw which port on the carburetor is the fuel inlet and which is the return? There is a port on top of the carb and another on the side. Also, there are two holes in the gas tank, a smaller one and a larger one. Thru which one does the fuel supply go? The return fuel hose has a little rubber valve on the end also.

I just rebuilt the carb but the hoses were rotted out and I could not tell which went where. Thanks for any advice.

Looking at the breakdown Cut4fun has listed you will see a nipple on the side, this where the fuel line connect to from the tank that has a filter attached to it.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I had the fuel lines reversed per the diagrams on the website link. No wonder the saw didn't want to start. That is a great informational website and I have bookmarked it for future reference. This website is also a fantastic resource. Thanks again.
