Was watching LumberJack sports on OLN last night, and saw a Canadian named John Walker throwing an axe. John W. was that you?

Hi Mike im sorry but that was not me. I threw axe once about 20 years ago in competition and finished 2, not bad for first and last time doing it. Yes i have heard of a guy with the same name in logger sports but never met him.
Hows the 346 working out for you.

John W the other guy

Hey John, this guy finished second also. like tony (the tiger) says, john, my 357, is greeaat! I am just really pleased. It quit raining down here long enough last Saturday afternoon, i went out and cut down 3 small (24") oaks. just evortless? kind of had to make the saw behave, (like some cherry, I,ve put it in) by not overreving it. this saw will eat as fast as you'll let it. i love it, i don't know what else i can say right now. will post some pics eventually, . you know, i've been thinking, (yikes, run for it boys). With spring coming on, ((cherries and bradford pears are blooming (14 degrees here two weekends ago)) the catfish will start their spring spawn pretty soon. that means, catching some catfish, and that means, of course, cleaning some catfish... with dennis revealing a whole new way to clean big game (buffalo) something i haven't thought of since i killet my first whitetail in '75...if i practice my plunge cutting... and get a carving bar for my 357... and some kind of way to suspend them catfish, we'll, I'll think about that more later. I'm thinking a new forum may be in order, maybe "chaining your game", or maybe, filleting w/a 7 rim sprocket 70dl windsor", just thinking out loud, what do you think john? :)
