I never tried it.... YET...
My super 50 4x4 goes up hills pretty well... I have to walk it up two flagston steps, then across a flagstone patio... Probably didn;t put enough $$ on the job... I was going to use plywood strips on top of the steps for support then build a ramp using plywood strips and then go over the whole thing with (2) 18"x8' strips of alturnamat... It is only two steps and they aren't stepp and the flagstone is thick... well built patio....

Any thoughts???

Thanks

Any chance the flagstone over hangs at the step? Often the flagstone overhangs and a heavy weight like a stump grinder and cause the stone to lift up or possible even crack. If it lifts up the stone, the filler inbetween the stones has a tendency to fall in then the flagstone sits high, doesnt look right and often cracks due to the hollow space underneath when a weight is applied in the center. Just make sure it cant lift up. Good luck with it.

yes it does have a little lip there and I think I'll have to block it up to prevent movement... I Am going to call the customer and tell them I'll need more money.... The other option might be to take it off the trailer right onto the patio if the ramps will fit... I have another job where I need to jump a small wall and was thinking of using a pick up bed and ramps to make the wall...
Thanks,
Daniel

you need to be real careful with those flagstone steps. if you shift one stone it is a PIA to get it to sit right again.
