Yep, this is my last effort. If I don't find one within a week or so, I will be ordering a new one. I am tired of hoping to stumble across a used one. I am getting older by the day and no closer to a grinder. Seems like it would be easy to resell if I needed to do so.

<p>I too am looking for a good used Silvey square grinder. However, the equivalent models of Simington, Bell, Doerr, and Nelson are also excellent. The lower models of Silvey grinders can be tricky buying when they're used. The original Razur Sharp models had a weaker motor that was prone to burn out if not kept excrutiatingly clean. If you purchase a new model you'll have an easy time reselling it if it's well taken care of.<p/>
