I have not gotten this saw to run, and cannot vouch for its piston/cylinder.
It is complete as shown, missing the clutch cover.
Otherwise it appears complete.

Obviously as is.

026 Cases

You Are Looking For A O26 Case Give This Place In Minnesota A Try I Bought A Solo Saw From Them And They Had All Kinds Of Saws When I Went And Picked Up My Unit. Its Called Service Pro Parts I Found Them Online. If You Cant Find One There Is A Place In South Dakota Called Rons Saw Shop They Are Online Also.

The damper is it.
The screw is intact. The bottom isn't even scuffed much. Case is fine.
Looks like completely intact, handle and chain brake are good too.
Like I said, I am assuming the buyer will need a p/c.

The saw is sold. Thanks to all that messaged.
It is really hard with the messages here to tell if responses have been sent or not.
I tried to get back to all of you. I apologize if there was anyone who did not get a PM in response.

I will let you all know when I get more saws for sale.

MS260 Update

I got the ms260 from Musch yesterday and it was in as good shape or better then he described. I appreciate him sending it promptly and for his accurate description.

I did the following to the saw

1) Took the piston and cylinder off of it. They were both in suprisingly good shape so i ended up just reringing it.
2) Tightened the upper av mount that connects to the gas tank. Someone had loosened the bolt.
3) Changed the clutch - the one that was on there had a loose metal shoe holder.
4) Put the big washer like piece (protects the oiler from the clutch) that was outside of the clutch drum back in between the clutch and the oiler. Someone must have taken it out at one time and accidentally put it back in the wrong spot.
5) Replaced both the front and back lower AV mounts. I didn't notice at first, but the front one was busted also.
6) Reconnected the impulse line. The impulse may have got accidentally disconnected because the gas tank assembly had a lot of play in it because of the broken av mounts.
7) Cleaned and adjusted the carb
8) Installed a new air filter.
9) Installed a new rubber deflector on the sprocket cover and a front dawg. They were missing.

After putting it all back together and installing the new parts it runs like a champ.

Thanks again Musch
