Wanted: Solo twin

Hey Guys- I'm looking for a good used Solo Twin to play with. I can arrange for a cash deal or am willing to work out a trade. I have many, many saws including other twin-cylinder saws in great shape- namely an Echo 610evl and a McCulloch BP-1, both complete with new Cannon external roller nose bars. I also have a full roll of Carlton .404" x .058" square chisel chain with the skinny raker in case you collectors are interested. thanks!

I have one of the 610s and a Solo Twin on the way to me now. The twin is a basket case, I hope that it is still complete. Those Solos do have a unique sound to them. I had the opportunity a few month ago to run one of them at Larry's HOS. I have been looking for one ever since that time.
No I will not part with those two saws.
I did look around for you and I am out of the larger saws, just sold a used 394. I may have an 066 coming in next week. I will let you know.

Hey Dan- the Solo twin saws are worth rebuilding even if you have fabricate parts for them. I ran across a hotsaw builder from Australia the other day who had three of them that he raced, one with a tuned pipe and alcohol with 20%nitro. I have access to a 3120 crank. I'll get it this week. I tried getting Dennis G. to send me or you the Dolmar 153 parts but he seems to have forgotten. I don't need an 066, looking for something bigger like a 394/395, Dolmar 9010, Olympyk 999, or 084.

If any other collectors are interested, I have entire barn full of McCulloch 125 saws and parts, as well as 9 kart engines and parts, plus some specialty stuff. No full circle Mac cranks though.

Hey Bill-

If I don't come across a Solo twin on a trade for the BP-1 or Echo 610, I'll take you up on your offer. I can post pictures, both saws are in very good condition- the BP-1 has maybe an hour on it. Both have brand new external roller nose Cannon bars ( 26" ) and some Carlton .375 x .058 semi skip square ground chains.

Hey Guys-

I'm also looking for some other classic saws. Namely- a Dolmar CT ( preferably the model 115 ), a Dolmar CA, a Dolmar CC, KSM4, a Solo 635, and the Sachs rotary. Again I can arrange a cash deal or trade for other saws. I now have two 090s- One an 090 AV and the other is a Regular 090 with the full top handle ( 1973 ). thanks.
