I recently got an 066 and it came with a 36" bar and chain. I feel like I am jousting with that thing so looking for a 20 to 25" bar and chain. Does not need to be new, but in decent shape. I am sure someone either has one they dont need or can get one at a better price than what I have found so far. Email me at [email protected] with info.

A company I used to work for here in Austin had an 066 w/a 36" bar. Felt the same way. Not that there weren't times when that bar was too small, but most of the time is was like jousting.

I put a 25" on it and it worked great!!! Keep the 36" in the truck just in case. The bars and chains are all pretty cheap at baileys. Why get used?

I've found that Cutterschoice.com provides the best deal on bars and chains. The "Cutters Special" is a bar, 2chains and a rim, good quality and less expensive. That package with shipping costs is still cheaper than just a bar that I can get locally.

Salado is about the closest I have made it to where you are. Mainly lurking here in Austin doing residential work.

Here the only stuff I can buy locally is way overpriced. That bar and chain combo would end up near $80. $50 for the bar and near $30 for the chain. That is why I order.

I also figure that the shipping is about the same as the 8.25% sales tax we pay locally.
