Alright thanks for the heads up. How much are they selling this counterfeit junk for? I'll have an easier time spotting them if I know.

at least half dealer price..there also selling makita drills disk cutters you name it ,and also a brand we have overhere wich is very exspensive DEWALT [i reckon you have this brand in the states]..DEWALT jig saws drills ,disk cutters, circular saws..aparently they seem [the seller] very convincing and genuine i hate seeing i guys ripped off

Not long ago I got an offer from a guy that supposedly found out I was asking questions about an 066 on ebay. The guy emailed my and said he had several new ones, still in the box for $250. I knew it was a scam, but I kept asking questions just out of curiosity, He lived in the Netherlands (so he claimed) and could not produce a single picture . He said they were packaged for shipping and waiting to be shipped. Yeah, right! Anyway, anyone else run into this guy? He had a website that he said was part of Amazon.com. I went to the link, and it looked like Amazon, but wasn't. Later, Roger.

I picked up a Makita Circular saw in Lowe's a few months back and surprised to see that they were now made in China. No difference in price than the older models, just more profit for the company. I'm sorry but if I'm going to buy a premium brand I want it made in Europe, Japan or USA, not China.
Grateful

China SUCKS!! I cant use chinese built tools of ANY kind. they're usually made in sweatshops and by untrained kids. I'll take my well made european, or AMERICAN made tools anyday.
