I am a farly new to climber trees i have done some tree climbing with my brother HUSKY288xp. But just for my side of climbing wat is agodd setup and a farly reasonable price.(sattle,rope,gaffs,etc...):blob2:

Super basic saddle can be had for ~$100. Climbing line can be purchased for ~$90. Gaffs, you might want to use your brother's for a while. Belly line, depending on what set-up you want to use can be ~$45.

Basically it's you get what you pay for. Those figures there are going to be for BASIC equipment, no bells and whistles, however it is a place to start.

Thx for the post

Ya thats all and good but im lookin for the like the name of the equipnment like buckinham or klien etc.

Weaver , Buckingham , Bashlin and Miller all make basic saddles. Miller is the cheapest after that they are all in the same price range within a couple of $. Gaffs are one item that buying used is sensible. Just shop around. If you are buying new then Buckinghams with fixed gaffs are probably cheapeast (but not best IMO) You can get the climbing line cost down to about $60. Samson Arborplex and Columbian Ropes Gold Fleck are 12 strands that are not 'New and cool" but work real well. You can spend big bucks on a lanyard or you can buy a buckstrap cheap- OR beg nicely from somebody here and get a scap of line made into a lanyard for the price of a couple of snaps.:)

I think little husky should think of spendng his money on an education. I would leave climbing to us losers. Maybe one day once your sucessfull you can take up recreational climbing.
