Weather tonight

We've had anywhere from 3-5 inches of rain in last 2 days here in the KC metro, and now were sopposed to be getting some heavy thunderstrorms tonight. I just went outside and wow some winds have picked up 30 50 mph gusts. Hopefully we/ll be getting some windthrow tonight...That's the way to start the season off....

We had floods 2 weeks ago in the lowlands.

Bought new gear after my stuff was stolen and today was supposed to be the first day back working, but I woke up to about 8 inches of snow, and its still coming down. Wait, Shhhhhh, can ya hear it? (snap, crackle and pop)

Wind just picked up here recently in the GTA with the arrival of a warm front and the temp exploded! New records here, but they are supposed to fall tonight and I see another rain storm heading our way like a freight train coming from Alexandra of all places, kinda funny smokey air actually. What’s that all about?

What about he train wreck near Oklahoma City? Looks real bad. The news said that the tracks were washed out by the rain.

Seriously Dude, I just got the basics. Weaver floading D saddle, sherrill pro-spec rope, silky hand saw, a buck strap, some biners, a throw ball and line, Cheapo Buckingham spikes, pads and straps. Thats it. Still came to over $600.00. I just want my old stuff back. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I just have to brag, our weather here in N FL has been great for the last week, warm, breezy, temps in the mid 80's. I got my first light sunburn of the year, time to change color a little.

Just makes me think we are gonna be cooking in the heat this summer -as usual-. I've decided I'm hiring more help and trying to shut down on these hot days earlier in the day 2-3pm. It just takes too much out of me and my guys to be out there cooking in 90+ temps. Also my son (7yr) started surfing with me at the end of last summer, and will be hooked when I get him a new board for this summer. I want to hit the waves with him after school a lot this year.
