I was thinking about creating a website. Anyone create their own or should I pay someone else to do it? I have a program to build one and godaddy.com sells domain names. Im stuck on what to do.

A website to do what? A simple one can be a pretty easy one page affair and if you do it yourself then you'll be able to maintain it yourself. You can look at other websites with the "view source" feature in your browser. If someone else does it for you they can make it complex enough that you'll need their continuing help to maintain and keep it updated.

We put one together that we hope will be more informational than advertising. It's easier for me to give a brief explanation in person of what we will or won't do and direct the customer to the website for more detailed info. For better or worse it seems to work for us.

Monkeyman812. If you have the skills, go for it. Then you have to get potential clients to go to the site. Include your web address in all your other advertising, on your trucks, on your bills, everywhwere. I've had some lucrative jobs come my way because clients could "see" what I do before they hire me. Good luck.
